How To Delete Browser Cookies On Tablets?

Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to delete browser cookies on tablets for different kinds of browsers.

Delete Google Chrome Cookies On Tablet

Here is the stepwise process to delete browser cookies on tablets if you are using Google Chrome.

Step 1: Open the Chrome app on your tablet.

Step 2: Click on the three dots at the top-right corner to open the menu. Here, click on ‘Settings’.

Step 3: Scroll down to the ‘Advanced’ section, and select ‘Privacy’.

Step 4: Now click on ‘Clear browsing data’. Here’s where we will be deleting your browser cookies.

Step 5: Put a checkmark on the box labelled ‘Cookies and site data’.

Step 6: Now click on ‘Clear data’, and all your stored cookies from Chrome will be immediately deleted.

Delete Browser Cookies On Tablet – Samsung Internet Browser

Step 1: Open Samsung Internet on your tablet.

Step 2: Select the three dashes menu icon to open up an extended menu. Now tap ‘Settings’.

Step 3: Find the ‘Privacy and security’ menu and click on it.

Step 4: Select the option for ‘Delete browsing data’. Now we can select which browsing data we want to delete.

Step 5: Check the box next to ‘Cookies and site data’. 

Step 6: Tap ‘Delete’. This will clear all cookies from Samsung Internet Browser.

Delete Cookies On Safari (Specifically For iPad Tablets)

Step 1: Go to your ‘Settings’ app. You can find it on your list of applications. 

Step 2: Scroll down till you find the ‘Safari’ app. It will have a blue compass icon. Click on it. 

Step 3: Now click on ‘Clear History and Website Data’. This will delete Cookies as well as History.

Note – Use Step 4 & 5 if you want to delete your cookies, but still keep browsing history.

Step 4: Go to the ‘Advanced’ option under Safari. Now select ‘Website Data’.

Step 5: You’ll see an option called ‘Remove All Website Data’. Tapping this will delete your cookies but keep your browsing history intact.

Delete Cookies On Mozilla Firefox

Step 1: Open Mozilla Firefox.

Step 2: Tap the three-dot icon on the top-right corner. Now click on ‘Settings’.

Step 3: There will be an option called ‘Clear private data’ here. Tap on it. It will be the second-last option.

Step 4: Check the box next to ‘Cookies and active logins’. You can also check the other boxes, depending on whichever data you need to be deleted.

Step 5: Tap on ‘Clear Data’. All the data from the check-boxes that you marked, including browser cookies, will now have been deleted.

Delete Microsoft Edge Cookies On Tablet

Step 1: Open Microsoft Edge on your tablet.

Step 2: Tap the three-dot menu at the top-right of the browser.

Step 3: Scroll down till you find the section called ‘Advanced’. Here, you should click on ‘Privacy’.

Step 4: Now click on ‘Clear browsing data’.

Step 5: There will be a few options here. Check the box next to ‘Cookies and site data’. You can also check the other boxes if you want that specific data to also be deleted.

Step 6: Tap the ‘Clear’ option. This will delete all the selected data, including browser cookies, from Microsoft Edge.

Delete Opera Cookies On Tablet

Step 1: Open Opera Browser. 

Step 2: You’ll notice a menu icon on the top-left corner of your screen. Click on it to open the menu bar.

Step 3: Tap on ‘Settings’.

Step 4: Scroll down till you find the ‘Privacy’ section. Here, click on ‘Clear browsing data’.

Step 5: You’ll now see a pop-up screen with many checkboxes. Mark the one next to ‘Clear cookies and site data’. 

Step 6: Tap on ‘Clear Data’. This will delete all your browser cookies from Opera browser.

Delete UC Browser Cookies On Tablet

Step 1: Launch UC Browser on your tablet.

Step 2: You’ll see three horizontal lines at the bottom-middle part of the screen. Tap on it.

Step 3: Tap on the hexagonal-wheel icon on the bottom-left corner of the newly opened menu.

Step 4: Now you’re in the UC Browser Settings menu. Find the option called ‘Clear Records’ and click on it. 

Step 5: Mark the checkbox for ‘Cookies’. The other options are ‘Forms’, ‘History’, and ‘Cache’. You can select all of them if you want, or just the ones you want to delete.

Step 6: Tap on ‘Clear’. This will delete all the data from the selected boxes, including Cookies, from UC Browser.
